History of Eastern Indian Literature 




India was culturally enriched from the ancient time, and literature was always focused part of it.
There are numerous writers and poets born in the Indian soil.

Indian Literature is extremely diversified , it is the only country in the entire world where 22 languages are spoken including Sanskrit. The earliest works of Indian literature were orally transmitted. Sanskrit literature begins with the oral literature of the Rig Veda a collection of sacred hymns dating to the period 1500–1200 BCE. The Sanskrit epics Ramayana and Mahabharata appeared towards the end of the first millennium BCE. Classical Sanskrit literature developed rapidly during the first few centuries of the first millennium BCE,


Among the twenty two Indian Language, I want to focus specially on Bengali Literature.
First I like to refer a few extraordinary novel and story of Bengali Literature. Undoubtedly you can read these books at the beginning. Among the following referred novel and story some of have available English Translation in the market. We will give the link of those English version link for those who are eager to read.
